Terms of Use

Core rules for using the LegalTech Georgia public website and Professional Network.

01

Purpose of the platform

LegalTech Georgia is a professional ecosystem for knowledge, professional connection, the Academy, events and collaboration. General information published on the site is not individual legal, financial or other professional advice.

02

Accounts and membership

Users are responsible for providing accurate information and protecting their accounts. Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. Access may be restricted for breaches of the Network Standards, these Terms or security requirements.

03

Acceptable use

The platform must not be used for unlawful activity, unauthorised impersonation, unsolicited commercial messaging, attempts to access another user’s account or information without permission, or deliberate interference with the operation of the service.

04

Member content

Members retain the appropriate rights in their content and are responsible for ensuring that publication does not infringe third-party rights. Members grant LegalTech Georgia only the limited rights needed to publish, share and provide the relevant platform function.

05

LegalTech Georgia content and brand

The site design, original material, resources and LegalTech Georgia brand elements are protected by applicable rights. They may be used only where permitted by law or with prior permission.

06

External links

An external link or reference to an organisation, product or service does not amount to endorsement or a guarantee. Users should verify relevant terms and information with the original source.

07

Commercial relationships

Sponsorship and partnership must be clearly labelled and kept distinct from independent editorial assessment. A commercial relationship does not guarantee a positive assessment or recommendation.

08

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable and secure platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may be changed, added, restricted temporarily or withdrawn for security, technical or product-development reasons.

09

Enforcement

A material breach of security requirements, professional standards or these Terms may result in restrictions on a feature, content or account. Decisions are taken with regard to the nature and risk of the issue.

10

Account closure and information

A user may request account deactivation or deletion through the Contact page. Completion may be subject to necessary retention permitted by law for security, audit or legal-claim purposes. Closing an account does not cancel obligations already incurred or automatically erase communications lawfully retained by another member.

11

Liability and governing law

To the extent permitted by law, LegalTech Georgia is not responsible for the outcome of a third-party source, external link or a member’s independent decision. These Terms are interpreted under the laws of Georgia. The parties will first try to resolve a disagreement in good faith through the contact channel, without limiting rights available under law.

12

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the platform develops. The update date on this page will change after a material revision. Use the Contact page for questions.
